CHALLENGE OF THE MONTH
Challenge of the Month!
The challenge of the month is a section I came up with that I believe will enhance your relationship with the Lord and create a stronger personal relationship with Him. They may be a full month long, they may be a week, it all depends on what I feel lead to do. To suggest a challenge, please email it so me!
JULY 2012 - ARMOR CHALLENGE
This month wake up each morning and put on the Armor of God. Make a sign if you have to so you remember. Watch how significant a difference this will make in your walk with the Lord and how it will protect you from the attacks of the enemy more and more. Try to strengthen your sword whenever you can by memorizing more scripture!
Ephesians 6:10-18 (NLT)
The Whole Armor of God
10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Challenge yourself each day to read any 10 or more chapters of the Bible. You say, "10 Chapters, that is just to much!" If you are a slow reader like me it might take an hour or so to read 10 chapters, maybe 1.5 hours. You watch tv, movies, spend time with your hobbies and 1.5 hours or BARELY any amount of time! Is God truly number one in your life or is your love focused on something else.
Matthew 6:24 (NLT)
"24 No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
Matthew 6:24 (NLT)
"24 No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
MAY 2012 - MUSIC CHALLENGE
Take one week out of the month, just 7 days straight. I challenge you to listen to only music that worships the Lord, cutting out all secular music, all metal, rap, hard rock, etc. and see what effect it will have on your attitude and relationship with Christ. One week, are you willing to give up this amount of time for a a possible life changing event?
Psalm 98:4-5 (NLT)
"4 Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
break out in praise and sing for joy!
5 Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song,"
Psalm 98:4-5 (NLT)
"4 Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
break out in praise and sing for joy!
5 Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song,"
